Lawrence-Died at Cynthiana, Age 75 I received a letter, a few days ago, requesting me to announce the death of an old and estimable friend, Mrs. Margaret J. Lawrence, at Cynthiana, Harrison County, this State; on January 14, 1903, in her 75th year. She was the oldest daughter of the late James H. Akin, of this place, and lived near here until about 30 years ago. She was twice married, her first husband being Stephen Mirrick and the second, _____ (this is the way it was in the newspaper) Lawrence. She leaves five children and one brother, J.R. Akin, of McVille, and one sister, Mrs. James H. Williamson, of near Rabbit Hash. She united with the East Bend Baptist church in her girlhood. Her many friends tender the sorrowing children, brother and sister their sympathy.
