  Notes for REV. CHARLES HODGES: 1. He was a Free Will Baptist preacher and was the first preacher of the Enon Free Will Baptist Church in Itawamba Co, Mississippi. 2. He was ordained on 21 June, 1831 into the Primitive Baptist Church. 3. He was possibly also from Franklin County, TN. 4. Limestone County, AL: 31 Jan 1831 - Inventoried and appraised the personal property of Stroud M. McCormick, deceased with John Millhouse and David Stell. 30 Nov 1832 - Lent his name to the desposition of Flud (Flooda?) Mitchell who was applying for his Revolutionary Soldiers Pension. The last linereads; "I am known by Charles Hodges, Clergyman and Reuben Tillman." (the pension was granted and paid) 28 July 1834 - Attended sale of goods belonging to Reuben Tillman, deceased 5.
